ChibiLearn Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account or using ChibiLearn (the “Service”, available at chibilearn.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ChibiLearn provides online learning for the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students), including courses taught by experienced teachers, vocabulary study and related learning materials. Content is provided for study purposes only and is not affiliated with or endorsed by JASSO or any university that uses EJU scores for admission.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must tell us promptly if you suspect it has been used without your permission.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and you must not use it if you are under that age.

4. Free and paid access

Some content and features are free; others require paid access. Paid access is sold as prepaid, time-limited plans and is paid by bank transfer. The plan, its price and its term are shown at checkout before you pay.

Access starts once your payment has been confirmed and ends when the term expires. Plans do not renew automatically. To match a payment to your order we process payment references, such as the transfer content and the amount received (see our Privacy Policy).

5. Refunds and cancellation

Paid access is digital content that becomes available as soon as your payment is confirmed. For that reason, payments are generally non-refundable, and a plan cannot be cancelled for a refund once access has started, including for unused time.

We will correct the problem or refund you if we charged you in error, you paid more than once for the same order, or we received your payment but did not grant your access. Contact us as soon as you notice. We will also refund where the law requires it.

Approved refunds are returned, where possible, to the account the payment came from.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, redistribute or resell content from the Service;
• use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service;
• attempt to bypass access restrictions or payment requirements; or
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Content ownership

Courses, vocabulary, questions, explanations and other content on the Service are owned by ChibiLearn or its licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use this content for your own personal study only.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service may link to third-party websites and lets you sign in with a third-party account if you choose. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for them. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, for example for maintenance or to update content.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Study content may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, so do not rely on it as the sole or authoritative source of information for an official exam. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in a particular EJU score or admission to any university.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChibiLearn is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the plan to which the claim relates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. This deletes your account and learning data, though order and payment records are kept afterward for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account because you violated these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused paid access.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it together. Any dispute we cannot resolve that way is subject to the competent courts of Vietnam.

This does not take away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.

14. Changes to these terms, language and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If the Vietnamese version of these Terms and a version in another language differ, the Vietnamese version prevails.
